Now, this concept itself is not new to us, MG Motor India did the same with the Hector Plus, and later Tata launched the Safari, which is the 3-row version of the Harrier. As pert  Tarun Garg, Director of Sales, Marketing and Service at Hyundai Motor India,  believes the Alcazar will create a new segment in the market.

There are lot of details that are about to be disclosed about Alcazar, however, Hyundai has confirmed that the SUV will have a 2760 mm wheelbase, which is 150 mm longer than Creta’s wheelbase.

At the same time, it will replicate a few elements like the LED headlights, alloy wheels and other design cues from its 5-seater older version. Under the hood, it will come with a new 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel motor. Both engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions.
