- The 2022 MINI JCW gets updated with the goodly eyes at the front.
- Carmakers offers better version of softwares for the infotainment system along with an adaptive air suspension setup.
MINI has come up with the 2022 John Cooper Works with more robust and masculine looks especially to its hot hatch. Just like its previous version, 2022 John Cooper Works still continues to get the round LED headlights and the hexagonal radiator grille.
Going to the lower side, the bumper has been revamped with larger air openings that gives it more of a dynamic look. Keeping looks and comfort both at mind, the build ensures it to have optimum temperature control of the powertrain and brakes. In order to reduce the drag, the front side panels gets a redesigned model-with specific side scuttles.
The cabin majorly gives a pretty much a familiar look as its predecessor. The only prominent change one can see on its interiors is the updated infotainment system, which has been revamped to operate on a new software with much sharper graphics. The 2022 JCW debuts with the Live Widgets that can be selected by a swiping motion on the touchscreen display along with other exciting features.
The carmakers have continued to inculcate the car with the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, twin-turbo petrol engine that puts out 228 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. The engine is amalgamated to a six-speed manual gearbox as standard. It can do a sprint from 0-100 kmph in 6.3 seconds. By being 0.2 seconds faster, the eight-speed automatic gearbox version can do the same stint in 6.1 seconds.
JCW offers you with a new adaptive suspension which is also available as optional. In order to smooth out pressure peaks within the damper over minor bumps, the carmakers has equipped it with an additional valve.
